Overview

Two Sentence Summary

This work addresses the long-standing mystery of how the brain constructs color vision with correct dimensionality, purely from optic nerve signals.

We simulate the human visual system to generate biologically realistic optic nerve signals and model cortical learning that exclusively relies on these signals. The results demonstrate emergent color vision with accurate dimensionality, validated across diverse biological conditions and real-world experiments.
